I'm relatively new about anime. The only thing I currently have is a Netflix account, and I can look at a few animes with it, but not really many / good ones. I would like to know which online services many animes offer. It also does not matter if the service is free or costs money. I have already looked at Animeondemand, but I miss there some animes, which were recommended to me. Or is it best not to watch the animes online, but to get them in physical form?

Anime2You, Crunchyroll, Network Cinema, Prosieben MAXX, Viewster, Wakanim, Watchbox
Paid and legal:
Amazon Prime Video, Animax, Anime on Demand, Crunchyroll (Premium), Netflix, Wakanim (Premium)
Whether you prefer watching it as a stream or in physical form is up to you. It usually makes no difference. On the DVDs / BDs are sometimes but extras on which you are usually not available in the streams.

Depends on what you want to see exactly because the licenses are distributed over different streaming services:

The disc variant I would z. B. For the Ghibli films recommend, because it does not exist as a stream.

From time to time you will also find something in the media libraries of the TV station, but they are not listed as it varies depending on the program.
Since I do not watch TV, I invite it, as far as I hear about it and I'm interested, from the library. Arte already had some nice animes.
