What language do you watch Netflix series in and why?
Always look in OV, most of the time it's English, so I'll just choose English here.
Because I just have a lot of English-speaking friends and want to improve my English, but also in general because I can then improve my grammar etc. For school.
It depends on whether I like the synchronization, but mostly it is English xD
When I watch something, it's in German. I would understand 90% of it in English, but it would be a bit exhausting as I'm inexperienced. When I watch a series, I want to relax.
I also think it's good that it's synchronized. This is not the case in many countries. That protects the German language. The German dubbing is sometimes celebrated as the best abroad.
Do you also watch with English subtitles? Or does it work without it?
English was always easy for me at school, and most of the time I don't even get along with German dubbing.
Meanwhile i watch without subtitles, but initially i watched with german and then english subtitles. The exception is when there's someone / several in the series / film who talk too quickly, then I turn on the subtitles
