Yakuza goes Hausmann - from which volume does it continue?

My friend found the anime on Netflix very good, so I wanted to get him the tape where the story continues after it ends in the anime.

You could start with Volume 3 because the anime chapters 24 and 25 were skipped.

So there would be these three options:

Start from the beginning
Start at volume 3
Start at volume 4
