Disappointing feeling after anime?

I don't know how to describe this feeling, but whenever I finish an anime I get sad in a special way. Somehow I get thoughtful too. For example, I recently watched Charlotte and Erased on Netflix and after that I was kind of very sad. I don't know if it's because the characters don't really exist or if I liked the anime so much. Maybe it was because the anime was so short or something. But my question is whether someone has this feeling too?

I would doubt that a significantly large group of people does not know this feeling - whether it is catalyzed by books, games or films is an open question.

(edit: Forgot the precise answer to the question: Yes, I know.)

Yes, if you really like a series, you just want to keep watching.

That's why I tend to like long anime and rarely watch which have only 12 episodes. Then it's over quickly and you have to look again

Of course I know that. Could be because the end somehow remained open or it ended very unsatisfactorily.

What always makes me extremely doubtful is when you build a high emotional bond with a character and then he dies or is treated cruelly.

For me, sad and angry feelings often mix with extreme joy. In the case of very emotional anime, take a break from time to time, then rather look at me in a good mood slice of life Anime in which not earth-shattering events are always a good change for me. This constant emotional chaos does not keep my heart out xD

I got that feeling again after I finished watching Black Bullet. I think it's because I know there's no sequel or because the ending is sad.

Well the feeling disappears after you start a new anime 😉

Sure, I had that too. After Steins; Gate, I was so sad that I would like to erase my memories of the anime and then watch it all over again.
