I have recently had the problem that our Internet completely smears off, as soon as it is exploited in any way more than before.
Context: We're with the provider Vodafone and have recently changed our line from 15k to 100k and also bought us one of our best recommended router, namely a FritzBox 7590th
Since then, the Internet crashes completely (Wlan and Lan) for about 5min for the following things (only a yellow triangle is displayed on the connection):
Sudden start of a download of several Gb
When starting Netflix on the TV
I also use Dlan modems from devolo with 500mbits, which are connected both to the PC on which the downloads are started and to the TV on which I start Netflix.
Does anyone have any idea why that might be because otherwise would call Vodafone and put me there 20min in the queue.
You first have to decide what exactly turns out: Internet, LAN or WLAN. These are different things and failures have different causes.
Should the internet fail, that is a case for the malfunction of your provider.
It all turns out, but as I said only with sudden stronger utilization of the Internet
If your local network fails at the same time as your internet access.
How did you then determine that the Internet access is not working?
As I said: Internet access has nothing to do with (W) LAN and Powerline (DLAN).
This distinction is important and absolute basis if you want to solve network problems independently.
It has to be determined what the fault is.
Please execute, if the yellow triangle appears the "problem treatment". (right mouse click on the symbol).
This should allow you to learn more.
A download is always started suddenly. So do not do anything.
Ping your local gateway and Google DNS (8.8.8.8), then you see the difference between a LAN and an Internet problem.
MAch the debugging directly to a LAN port of Fritzbox, so wlan and DLAN do not distort the result.
