Why do apps that I never use take up more storage space than apps that I use every day?

You see the question above. In the picture you can see that e.g. IMovie takes up more storage space than Netflix or YouTube but I haven't even signed in to Imovie or I've never used it and I use Netflix or YouTube every day.
Can I somehow change this without deleting the app?

Because the app is just so big, have a look in the AppStore

Because the files are still lying around on your phone, regardless of whether you use them.

I don't have an iPhone but Android. If I go into Settings, then Apps and select one of them, I go to Storage, then CACHE, and delete those caches that are in there.

Because iMovie etc. And so are extremely large apps.
They just naturally need more space.

iMovie etc. Can you for example. Delete when you don't need it.
