I've built myself a new PC as in my previous contribution.
But now I want to build a kind of mini PC as a multimedia box on which things like Chrome, YouTube in FHD, Netflix or similar backless should run.
The best without graphics card, or if one is then suitable for FHD or even WQHD but not much may cost.
Generally, the price should remain low and had something like the Ahlon 240GE thought, but still have 8GB DDR3 lying around.
Built in qITX so the smallest is possible.
Due to the size of the cooler, the TDP of the processor should also be below 60.
I thank you in advance for your answers.
Look for what qITX motherboards are the cheapest, that would probably be the most expensive component
What speaks against a Raspberry PI as a multimedia box? The things you mentioned make the device playful.
The Athlon needs my knowledge ddr4
Windows 10.
And even creates the Full HD or WQHD? 😳
Exactly. Otherwise the perfect would have been
Windows on a multimedia box? Why should you slow down even slower performance with this operating system? Does not make any sense, you judge once and then the box is running. The current Pi is even suitable for 4K output.
Well, the operation. Chrome is indispensable to me and all the things you do not need like Cortana will be deleted by jailbreak anyway. Theoretically, only the start screen, My Data, Settings, Chrome, and so on like videos etc. Remain.
But on Linux, you can install Chromium, which has almost 99% of Chrome's open source code and looks the same. Windows will always reserve a large percentage of your storage no matter how much you disable. Just like the original Chrome browser.
