And when I wanted to break off contact with her because I actually didn't want anything against her simply because school was just stressful and I wanted to concentrate on it, but everything works again, so then she started crying and she felt right bad because I wanted to break off contact with her is that normal?

Friendships can always develop into something, especially when you have a lot to do with each other, and at that age that is not unusual. I think that your behavior can indicate something like that. Maybe you should talk to her, ask her if she introduces more, and if so you should tell her how you feel about the matter.
I think that's part of a friendship. You also take a friend in your arms. I think that's quite normal.
The friendship can't be so great that you give it up just because she wants to cuddle or "because school is stressful right now". You could still talk about it if you don't want to.
Maybe you have a "cuddle deficit" or want to be hugged.
