Picture format on the receiver does not match the TV?

We recently bought a new TV (Hisense 43AE7200F) and we're totally satisfied with it. The only problem is that the picture size from our receiver (TechniSat DIGIT S3 DVR) does not match the size of our TV. Whenever the receiver is running, there are wide black borders on all sides of the picture. (As if part of the screen can't be used). However, if you use Netflix or something similar, the entire screen is used.

Can you help me there, it would be really great!

The receiver probably comes from a phase in which the number of rows and columns possible in the current television has not yet been "built in". Only an up-to-date receiver can help.

Select the main menu → Settings → Picture settings in the receiver and set them to match the TV.

If you already have a Hisense… Unfortunately the child fell into the well! But good; when you are satisfied so far!

Usually you can find settings for the picture format in the menu of the receiver. Try them out and you will find the right one. This problem can usually be remedied without any problems!

We have already tried everything.

I'm assuming that you have tried not only the format but also the other 4 points in the main menu> Settings> Image settings? There's a lot in the operating instructions from page 44!

Sq

Yes we tried everything. I'll take a look at that.

lo

Only the 16: 9 setting is often not… Sometimes a zoom is added… Just try the settings because 16: 9 has been around for decades; therefore the receiver and the Hisense thing should also be able to do that.
