People I wanted to watch IT again. But didn't find that in Netflix, you can tell me why it was removed.

The license expired weeks ago.

Probably license expired.
So they probably only paid for it for a certain amount of time.

As it were, Netflix rents the rights to films and series that they do not make themselves. In order to keep the offer varied, they do not always rent the same titles, and renting everything permanently would be too expensive, so the offer changes and new titles are added and old ones are taken out. Is actually there before if a title is only available for a short time.

Read the book at ES, it is much better than the films!

Netflix does not purchase licenses for charity only. The goal is the largest audience in relation to the license costs. The film is apparently too expensive or is viewed too rarely. This is quite normal and common for all streaming providers, unless it is an in-house production.

Every week there's an overview of what's flying out:

Licensors always want to make money on their products.
So Netflix buys a license for (for example) 2 years. I'm just going to take $ 10,000 for a movie.
After that, Netflix either has to take the movie down again or pay another $ 10,000.
Because Netflix can't extend everything, Netflix also has to take down films again. If Netflix didn't do this, it would become more and more expensive for Netflix, which then falls back on us, in which we would have to pay more and more because it is becoming more and more expensive for Netflix. They don't get the money just like that, but through us.

To put it briefly: The license has expired.
