Good antenna cable = good screen quality?

I got a 65 inch 4k UHD Smart TV from Philips, in apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, the 4k are noticeable and you notice a clear difference… If I watch a TV program normally, I have the problem that the picture if you look closely, it has / is pixelated, regardless of whether it is HD or normal channels.

Now I asked myself whether that could be due to my antenna cable, because that is only a 2 euro cable from a cheap store… I've seen Amazon offers a 10m satellite / antenna cable and is specially declared with HD 4k UHD and now it is I wonder if I should get the cable to improve the quality

Good antenna cable good screen quality

Will work but bring very little.

I don't think the purchase makes sense

Is it generally because you can only receive up to normal HD via cable?

And can I downscale my TV to normal Full HD if I want to watch TV?

cr

Just don't fall for that. The cable is exactly the same as any other. A simple wire inside, done. Don't buy that. The problem is elsewhere. What kind of setup do you have at home in terms of TV reception?

All right, perfect, I'll sit down with my father

Which stations did you test? ARD and ZDF (and others from ÖRR) only use 1280x720, which of course looks terrible on a 65 "television, but you can't do anything about that, the cable won't do anything either.

"In fact"

Thank you. Finally someone writes that correctly, here you have to read "unzwar" or "unswar" all the time…

The picture quality of digital television can't be improved by an expensive cable, but interference can occur with cheap ones because they are poorly shielded, the cable should have at least 120 dB shielding, the higher the better, the shielding is also given in classes

Class A:
Class A +:
Class A ++:

and the lower the oxygen content of a copper line, the lower the signal attenuation, which is also a quality feature.

If the picture looks pixelated then it is not because of the antenna cable, unless the bit error rate is very high, but there are still further disturbances up to signal failure, the problem is probably with the signal source or the television.

But you shouldn't necessarily use a cheap cable for 2 euro, these things are all junk, they hardly have an effective shielding, so you could have used the cheapest wire.

But gold-plated plugs and other gimmicks are also completely superfluous.

The picture quality is generally worse via cable than via satellite, the cable network operators pack up to 30 channels on one frequency, 10 SD channels would be the ideal route, with HD channels 4-5, there are also significantly more on one frequency
