Xbox 360 power cord for better quality?

Hey guys I have an Xbox 360 which I use to watch Netflix etc. On my TV, but I currently connected it with a power cable for the PC instead of the Xbox one, as I can't find it anymore. The quality on the TV is not very good, the colors are dark and the picture is generally a bit blurry. My question now is: is it because the Xbox is too old and can no longer produce better quality, or is it because of the cable? Sorry if I sound stupid, but I just don't know about it and would like to know that before I just order a cable.

Ma

It is not really due to the power cable, is it not that the xbox 360 is so lumpy (power supply unit) because the xbox 360 has not built it in, maybe it is because otherwise check out what the xbox 360 supports for resolutions and who has the television, just buy a fire tv stick

ve

I'll do that then, I don't want to harm the quality anymore lol thank you!

Lu

Cable is cable. There are no high frequencies or anything else where shielding could deliver quality.

This is due to your XBox.

Er

If the power cord has a problem, the console won't turn on. It's either because of the TV or. The. Xbox.

Ma

The xbox actually supports 1080p

Ma

For sure? The cable of the xbox 360 has the power supply built in, isn't that because?

Er

Even if you are missing. If the ferrite core has external voltages on the cable, this does not manifest itself in dull colors or something if the signal is not transmitted in an analog way, which it probably will not.

ve

On the TV where the Xbox is connected, it will hardly be because it is relatively new and also has good quality

ve

What can I now understand by analog transmission? 😅

ve

I can't explain that, thought until now all the time it would be the cable 🤷🏻♀️

Ma

Why don't you buy a fire tv stick

ve

I will do now, where I know the quality I can't change anything 😂

Er

That doesn't have to mean anything. If the Xbox displays a resolution lower than that of the television, the television must extrapolate the picture. Depending on that, this is at the expense of quality. Alternatively, the XBox may have set the resolution too low or too high. Or used the wrong color space. The thing that surprised me played on it years ago, and I don't remember that the quality was so bad at the time, but maybe I was still too young 😂

Ma

That will probably have been it, I think so even with today's series from childhood, which were actually really badly done.

Er

I'm now too tired to explain analog and digital signal transmission. In short: hdmi is digital and there's no radiation that is expressed by poor picture quality. The symptoms you describe do not come from a cable.

ve

Oh now that I'm reading HDMI connection, I notice that the Xbox is connected via AV connection, now just say that's because 😂🤦🏻♀️

Er

You should at least try to use a modern standard and see if that fixes your problems.

ve

I'll give it a try, thank you!

Internally, the XBox works with much lower voltages than the 230V ~. Even if it fluctuates between 210 and 240V, a regulated DC voltage would come out at the back. The power supply shouldn't make any difference in terms of quality.
