I got a headset from kotion each for online classes, but my microphone doesn't work?

I got the g9000 model and completed everything as specified in the instructions, I also hear the sound, but not on YouTube or Netflix but at games… My microphone does not work although I think I have connected it correctly, I also have the authorization given. In an online microphone test, I didn't hear anything when I spoke, but the lines moved when I tapped the microphone, not when I spoke. Can someone help me, thank you.

According to a picture, a Y-adapter would not be included. But you have one in use, right?
