Is there any way to download episodes of a series on PC / Mac?

As stated in the title, I'm looking for a way to download episodes or even an entire season of a series from Disney + or Netflix for later viewing. They should be available offline and I don't want to look at them on my small smartphone. Buying a tablet especially for this is a bit exaggerated.

The Windows 10 app from Netflix has a download function. I don't know about Disney +.

If you download the Netflix app from the store on Windows, you can download the episodes there too. I still have to watch for Disney

You can download episodes via the relevant apps. You can also, but that should be illegal, record the episodes via Shadowplay (Nividia) / ReLive (AMD). Since these programs read out the video memory of the graphics cards, HDCP or similar copy protection does not help either.

Not Disney + to my knowledge, you can find Amazon Video and Netflix in the Microsoft Store. Disney + in the worst case via the browser and then proceed as described above. I do not like to recommend a procedure that is not in accordance with current case law, but ultimately the providers also have to ensure that the paid content can also be viewed offline, if they do not do this, they also have to bear the consequences.
