Documentary / Series: When They See Us
Made mega thrilling, is a fictional film (in 4 parts), but deals with the real case of the Central Park Five from 1989. I had to really cry in some scenes because these 5 young people had such an injustice because of their skin color and their whole life was ruined. Don't want to reveal so much, it's definitely worth checking out.
If you like True Crime with forensics and all the trimmings, you'd rather watch Medical Detectives (there's it next to Free TV on Watchbox or something legal and free) than these documentaries on Netflix. Some cases that were stretched over 90 minutes on Netflix (think the documentary was called something with a picture book family) would be through in 20 minutes on Medical Detectives. At Medical Detectives there are much more exciting cases and worlds better told
Yes, I can only recommend "When They See Us", the one scene with a youngster in the solitary / isolation cell was also very close to me. (where he starts hallucinating). For me one of the most poignant scenes.
I see exactly the same. Because it really happened that way, it's even worse to watch
* excuse me i love you
