Switch case fan ON / OFF?

My case fans are two be quiet! Pure Wings 2, unfortunately without PMW control. I would like to turn it off if I e.g. Only stream on the Internet or Netflix. Can I switch the fans ON and OFF as required with a simple cmd command or something similar? I don't want to go into the BIOS every time or disconnect the fans from the mainboard.

There's simple software for this. For example "SpeedFan", I think that's pretty much what you are looking for.

How should that work?

th

I probably missed it

Do you have an idea @flauski?

Br

How are they connected? Because to me it sounds like you have to install a switch.

Are connected to the system fan with a Y-cable

Even if you don't have PWM control from the fans, you should at least be able to cut the voltage. Unfortunately, I don't know your motherboard or possible BIOS commands to do this from the Windows level.

Have a B450M-A PRO MAX

There are boards where you can control the speed even without PWM, namely with DC.

Download Asus GPU Tweak, then you can adjust the speed. You can switch it off completely, but I don't think so, you can only switch off PWM. (At least on my PC)
