Witcher complicated on Netflix?

I'm currently watching "The Witcher" on Netflix and just wanted to ask if someone was still having problems with the timeline etc.

Or am I the only one there?

'' I haven't read any of the books (yet) but will definitely do so before season 2.

So the timeline actually clears up from the wedding (don't know if you've been there). But yes, I find the show confusing and have heard that it can hardly be understood without prior knowledge.

Es

I think it all dissolves quite well in the end.

Incidentally, had no previous knowledge.

! POSSIBLE SPOILER!

If you mean episode 4, then yes, I've already been there. 😅

The episode with the cursed boy who looks like a hedgehog. 😅

I definitely have to catch up with the books soon, there's a lot more to be explained. 😅

Do

I'm curious.

I'm now in episode 6.

But it's still a really cool series.

Es

Yes, I agree. Something else.

Yes, the timeline is pretty messy. Above all, you learn very late when which storyline is playing.

I read the books more than once, so I was able to classify most of them. But since you can never know beforehand what freedoms the screenplay writers have taken, I have sometimes puzzled how all of this should fit together.

In the end everything makes sense. You just have to look at the end. The first episodes were also mixed up

At first, the timeline actually seems complicated. I watched the whole season and read the very first book, which made me even more confused. Only three stories in the series took place from the first book. Everything else happens later, which has brought me a lot of spoilers at the same time. It's my fault xD

Somehow only after the episode with the wedding of Pavetta did the timeline become clear to me.

The series initially takes place in three different periods. At some point the series takes place in the same period.

Just keep looking and everything should be understandable. Worth it. I personally enjoyed The Witcher very much.

Witcher series? is israelcd
