I'm looking for a laptop that can cost up to 1000 euro. I would like to play Fortnote on normal settings smoothly, watch netflix and work with oficce applications.

I would recommend you something from Acer or Asus with at least 8GB RAM

What's important to you, 17-inch display for office
Touchscreen is a funny thing (Netflix), they are all only smaller than 17 inches.
4K well, you really need it.

Work mobile, up to 10 hours, …
I have 8th generation Intel 5i that accelerate as needed. Runs with 4 times 1600 MHz depending on the time with 1100 or 3200 MHz.
Take an SSD hard drive, they are very fast.

Sit in front of Acer Aspire 5 A517-51G-582Q
My dealer recommended this model to me 1.5 years ago, I shop online for work.
In retrospect, the max 1600 x 900 resolution was unsuitable for some shops, better 1920x1080.
Should have bought the i7 for 100, (cut video).
The 128 GB SSD hard drive is actually too small for me, the one with a second 1 T hard drive is somehow stupid.

This is not about super fast, but about economical. If the PCU runs slowly (e.g. If you read something) this means less cooling, quiet and saves electricity.

And its CPU… Higher Turbo Boost clock rates up to 40% more power.

Check out the minimum requirements of Fortnite.

Any PC can do Netflix and office work.

I have an IdeaPad 320 from Lenovo with 17 "simply because the NumPad is important to me for working.

The PC was only intended to work with i7, but 12 GB of RAM can still play games like Ni no Kuni II. Clearly not Fortnite, nor is it my game. * cough *

I had the search… Back then 3 years ago? - at Media Markt or Saturn test made for PC requirements…

What I would pay attention to:

- min 8 GB and more RAM

- i7 or at least not the oldest processor

An SSD could help for speed when starting and loading content.

The problem SSDs are far faster and better than HDD hard drives, but they are also significantly more expensive.

With the size you have to decide what you want more. I like a big laptop rather than a small one.
