Exciting series on Netflix that not everyone knows?

I've only watched children's series or comedies on Netflix lately. But normally I don't watch stuff like that. Do you know which series I could watch instead? Series such as Vikings, vampire diaries, TWD or the Witcher. I have seen most of the well-known series to the end, so unknown ones might help. (You shouldn't be dropped after a season!)
