That takes the tension out, at least for me.

This is absolutely worth it, but if you are relatively good in English, please watch it with English subtitles. That brings much more than with Germans. The reason is that the brain stays in "German mode" when reading German subtitles. At Netflix you can select "English (CC)". CC means that it really says exactly what they say. This is how you improve your pronunciation because you 1. Hear it and 2. Read it. Your brain then links the word to the pronunciation.

On the contrary. I think it's nicer. The original voices are always a little cooler and I also got better as a result. I (f / 12) started watching everything in English when I was 10. As a result, I'm now at the level of an English native (words from my teacher, not mine). It is definitely better. In all criteria🙃
