Disable Netflix German Translation?

I watch Netflix almost exclusively in English. Despite the subtitles being switched off, on-screen lettering in English (e.g. The location and time of a crime series or advertising signs) is translated into German. How can I stop this?

That won't work, because in D you can only stream the German versions, just with the original soundtrack.

Sry for the late reply. Does that mean a VPN is the only way to bypass translation?

VPN? No idea.

You could create an account in English-speaking European countries and select it from here, almost from your "vacation". To do this, you would of course need an account in the corresponding country.

But honestly: is it worth the effort? The few overlays don't matter.
