Is there ertugrul (series) on Netflix? Can anyone check that I don't have Netflix, I'm about to get it.

Tu

Do you mean Resurrection: Ertugrul?
Then yes, but not in the German surface. You have to set your Netflix to Turkish in the settings because it has no German subtitles.

Ke

I don't know, but you can find it on youtube with english subtitles.

Om

OK and which languages are there still?

Tu

The series has subtitles in German Netflix in Arabic, Greek, English, Spanish and Turkish. The sound is only in Turkish.
That you put Netflix in English should also go so that you can see it. Only in the German interface are no videos displayed because there's no German.

Tu

But I see right now, it is probably only the 5th season. : 3 (probably has several?)

Me

Brothers I don't recommend watching the series because there's a lot of Haram and things that are un-Islamic.

Ke

I have just started the series but can't understand this criticism. What is un-Islamic?

Me

For example, there's music, a mix between non-Mahram, Sufism, an eretic like Ibn Arabi is promoted in this series, etc.

Me

I recommend starting a book studying the audio of what you learned. This is more useful than time disappearing in a series.

A very good book is Usul al Thalatha (The Three Principles) by Muhammad ibn Abdul_Wahhab.

Ke

Sufism has been an integral part of Islam for 1400 years. Hasan al-Basri, Sultan Saladin, Ibn Taymiyya, Ibn Qayyim, Ibn Hajar al-Askalani, Imam Dhahabi and Sultan Mehmed II were all Sufis.

Ke

Ibn Taymiyya was a member of the Qadiri order and praised Sufi such as Junaid al-Baghdadi, Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani and Abu Ismail al-Harawi. Just because he was against some Sufis, he was not against Sufism. You obviously don't know anything about the man you call "Shaykh al-Islam".
