Netflix subscription Paypal?

So far, I have always topped up my account with gift codes except for the last time and that with PayPal. My question is now whether the money will be automatically withdrawn from the account the next day and whether the membership will be automatically Extended.

If you have confirmed the payment with PayPal (the first time you confirm an automatic payment authorization, i.e. Something like a direct debit procedure, that Netflix can initiate the payments alone in the future and you don't have to confirm it every time) and Netflix has successfully initiated the payment (i.e. It appears in your PayPal sales), your subscription should already have been successfully extended.

If you did not have enough credit on Paypal from which it could have been deducted, Paypal will get the rest or the entire amount via direct debit from your giro (this usually takes a few individual back working days until it is booked there), but that then has nothing to do with Netflix but only with you and Paypal.

Paypal extends the money for such payments (without sufficient credit) right away, then takes it back from the giro.

Even if this direct debit fails due to a lack of thought on the giro, it has no effect on your extended Netflix subscription but then your PayPal balance would go into the red. PayPal tries a second time with the direct debit, but if it fails, your balance remains in the red and you have to take care of its balance yourself (i.e. By transferring it yourself from your giro to PayPal or at least this amount, e.g. From friends Lets send PayPal.
As long as the balance is in the red, of course, no further payments are possible and even after it has been balanced it can still take a few hours until it is unlocked again.
If you don't take care of the compensation, PayPal will either pass it on to a debt collection company or, in the case of very small shortfalls, maybe simply write them off - but that would also result in a lifelong ban for PayPal.
