Netflix does not seem to accept my Paypal account?

I had previously paid Netflix only with the voucher cards. Already last year I tried to pay with my account, but that did not work out. Now I wanted to try it again, but whenever I choose my Paypal account as a payment infotmation, even though I have a covered linked account at Paypal, I'll be prompted to provide a bank account. Here I have already stated with Paypal one, with which I could pay on other online shops so far always without problems. Only Netflix asks me to specify another bank account, what can you do there?

You could simply - as desired - specify another bank account. Or ask Netflix.

In the case of Netflix, Paypal may require you to provide your credit card number instead of another bank account for your security.

Thanks for the answer. I could solve the problem differently, then I simply used direct debit. But I have again informed and you are right, Paypal is still a credit card needed, but since I do not have, I have used a direct debit.
