In the hospital, what is the best way to sleep when there's a guy next door who has ventilators?

Ask about ear plugs.

Have earplugs brought to you and close your eyes.

One would think that it should be quiet in the hospital. Anyway, you have to struggle enough with the unfamiliar bed (which is always too short for me).

I used to feel the same way. I had two men on the left and on the right who kept barking with coughs. There was also an EKG attached to me plus the so-called access (this is a needle attached to a blood vessel). So "harassed" from all sides one should then fall into a pleasant sleep: →

I then tried first to distract myself with the television. Something was going on that could hardly entertain me in this situation. "Ocean's 12, 13, or 14" It doesn't matter!

At some point in the early morning hours I must have finally fell asleep. Had far too little sleep, of course.

My tip would be to get a sleeping pill. Sure, every superfluous tablet is counterproductive, but how else can you calm down?
