I'm currently thinking about buying a WoW gift card, as I'm reluctant to accept regular subscriptions. Before I wanted to look on the side, whether the whole thing is also possible (principle, such as Netflix). However, I only found the 'Subscribe' page, but nowhere did I discover a 'Redeem Gift Card'.
Does anyone know if it is necessary to start a subscription by credit card / PayPal / direct debit or is it enough to run the subscription through a gift card alone (as with Netflix) and I just missed it?
You do not need to complete a subscription that is deducted. There are game time cards that you use to activate game time. It should be noted that you will then really buy a season ticket and not any other Battle-net card. You still need the basic game. You buy that and get the first 30 days automatically.
There are game time cards that you can buy to play WoW.
You can also buy and pay Battle.net credits.
If you play enough, you can also buy a WoW mark for gold in the game and redeem it for 30 days of play time.
With characters up to level 20, you can play the game completely for free.
The basic game you do not need more once you have a subscription or playing time you get everything up to and including Legion free to play
Either way, I'll get a Battle-Chest in this case. Easy to have and because of the books. ^ - ^ Thank you!
No. You always need the basic game, unless you play the free version up to level 20.
I have no idea what books you mean, "Battlechest" are actually the outdated packages with the extensions, as they still had to buy them all. But I do not have to know which books you mean.
No the basic game and the extensions to Including Legion are included in the subscription. This has already happened since the Battle for Azeroth.
The shortest option would be Paypal / Direct Debit for a one-month subscription. You can cancel this right after that, not to forget it, and see the expiration date.
The Gamecards are 2 months each for about 27 euro.
A WoW mark gives 30 days playing time or gold, but costs 20 euro!
I just mean the beginner's manual that is included. And the quick guide, if you take it exactly. XD
