Is that possible if a series e.g. On top of that, it will stay on forever and not disappear, etc. Then fewer people would go to illegal sites. E.g. If you are watching a series on netflix and then it disappears you go to an illegal site because you want to keep watching
No there will never be
Will there ever be a site like netflix where there are really all films / series (except films that are still in the cinema)?
I hope not.
And if so, then as a pay-per-view. A film / series at home should cost as much as a film in the cinema. All of this quasi-free binge series TV movie glancing is really no good for anyone. There are 14 year olds and younger who already have their own TV in the room.
In addition, one shouldn't forget the shabby industry and the increasingly poorly paid artists (music / film) due to streaming. At some point, sensible films will no longer be able to be produced because nobody is willing to work for the money. And Netflix, YouTube, Spotify & Co. Don't pay anything.
This is really the abyss of a formerly culturally interested educational society.
Hopefully you're right.
Never say never, but rather say no!
Either all the big Hollywood studios, smaller production companies and indie producers would have to form a collective in which they all unite to found a common streaming service.
Or what is even more improbable, a corporation buys all the rights to said films that exist in this world and thus bundles everything available under one service.
Both very utopian, as it leads to the fact that the big studios, which also usually have more expenses, get less of cake!
Furthermore, it would push our cultural creation into the abyss, because today the quality of the productions is steadily declining! Mainly the next film / series to fill the portfolio. One no longer looks consciously and something profound is no longer conveyed. All light fare or based on any hype.

No.
Because that way there would be no competitive situation. Bad for business. How should the price for purchasing the rights then be negotiated?
