Should I celebrate my 16th birthday?

I'll be 16 on September 30th. I know it's early to ask this question, but I've been dreaming of a Sweet 16 party since I was a little girl. Unfortunately I can't rent a room and I would not like to celebrate at home as it is very uncomfortable. We have some financial problems because my father built us a very large house with a garden. I'm happy about it but a lot is still missing: my room looks terrible and it is very embarrassing if someone would see it. I would like to buy new furniture but I only have 200 euro and that really doesn't help me much. Our stairs have no railings but these wooden railings and the stairs are not yet finished and you can only see concrete. The stairs are not a problem but my room gives me a lot of thought because we would take a lot of pictures in my room and so on. I can do the decoration, I love to decorate and bake. I could also have a cake made, these are little things that I can pay for, but as I said, I can't spend 200 euro for a room and only for a few hours. I would also make cakepops & much more delicious. I would actually invite 13 people & the topic would be a mix of girls night & Netflix. We don't want to drink alcohol. We'll eat, talk, watch movies, play games, make karaoke, take pictures. My room is really embarrassing I can't let that happen. Maybe I should save my money and buy new furniture? I really don't know what to do but I want to celebrate so much. It's just a childhood dream. 🥺💗

Some dreams are probably very difficult to realize. Celebrate after

A big house with a big garden is of course super embarrassing.

If you are embarrassed, then you better leave it.

I have no other tip.

You have at least a sweet 16 party.

Go out with your friends in a p16 club and celebrate.

You really don't have to rent a room to celebrate your birthday, especially when you are only 16 - something you can do at 50 if you want to invite tons of people…

Such a rented room is also totally impersonal and uncomfortable - you have a house and a garden and late September is the most beautiful late summer, so you don't sit in the room and watch movies!

Have a nice summer party with lanterns, good music and a barbecue - it's the ideal time of year!

Ask in the clubhouses of…

Allotment gardeners, THW, fire brigade, swimming clubs, canoe clubs after. Many rent their rooms - requested in time for about 50 euro. You have to take care of cleaning and entertainment. Possibly. Another 5 euro for water and electricity.

And you don't need a ballroom for the number of guests either.

Trying makes you smart and there's still enough time.

If you don't have clever answers, please don't do it.

Then next time please just ask: where can you celebrate with 13 people for little money if there's no possibility at home.

Instead you complain, you are ashamed of the garden and house, because of the construction site and no money.

Oh well…
