Renting films never pays off in the long run
Renting films is way too expensive. I would prefer to take out a subscription for e.g. Netflix, or buy cheap, used DVDs / Blu-Rays, this is definitely cheaper and you have the films permanently.
Sure, the advantages of renting out are that you can watch the films immediately for a fee. But I'm always a fan of analog DVDs or BluRays. And you will be amazed. Ebay classifieds or sites like Medimops have a lot of good films with free shipping from just 2 euro. Then you have them forever and even have to pay less. In general, however, it would certainly be worthwhile for you to take a look at Prime to borrow. There's always a 50% discount on renting films.
I think it would be way too expensive in the long run.

and a single film on YouTube can start from 3.99 euro.
I would advise you to consider making a subscription somewhere because that is very, very expensive in the long run. Doesn't have to be Netflix.
So we have most of the streaming services and I think it's most worthwhile to get Disney + and Netflix, because everything is free with Netflix and Disney + still has VIP access, but you don't need that. I think it's not generally worth renting or buying films on YouTube, because you only have to pay once a month (or once a year, I think, with streaming services) and for every film on YouTube. In addition, I don't know whether you can also rent series on YouTube, which would be a disadvantage if not because almost everything is available on streaming services.
