Prefer movies on Netflix and Co?

I once thought I'd ask you for your opinion on this topic. Eg James Bond became the x. Time postponed and in my opinion they could crush the cinema date and get the DVD out. Because NOBODY is waiting for a film that has long been shot. I'm not a Bond fan but I wondered what you think of it. Wouldn't it be better in the current situation to bring the films on Netflix and Co and then split the profit? Fast and Furious is the same problem. Or A Quit Place. If the films are not finally released, I would like the cinema numbers to drop because they have to postpone it again and again. What is your opinion?

Sh

Until you can go back to the cinemas, I would bring the films on Netflix and Co. But otherwise when it is possible to go to the cinema again because the feeling is simply nicer.

ba

I agree. It was only because of the whole "stay at home" talk

Sh

True.

So I like cinema, but with Corona and so: (

I would find a good middle ground if the cinemas might show their films on the Internet for a fee. (So a kind of Netflix for every cinema)

Is just very difficult to do…

I think they are also concerned that too many cinemas will go bankrupt if all the good films then appear on Netflix etc. First.

Hope I could help: )

co

Better bring it to Netflix etc and split the profit. Personally, cinema hardly appeals to me anymore because it has become very expensive and there are almost only remakes, umpteen sequels or some superhero films, most of them have nothing to offer except good effects. Popcorn etc. Are sold there at exorbitant prices.

fi

Not everyone has Netflix and Co. I'm not really a fan of these services either. I would rather have to wait for the movie and pay 10 euro for the entrance fee and collect a memory than watch it on Netflix at home. Movies are cooler in 3D too.

ba

Yes, the cinema experience is something else. But if the film is postponed over and over again even though it's long been finished and you let the fans wait too long, you don't have to be surprised that it becomes a flop at the box office.

fi

I don't think it will be a flop. When the cinemas reopen, a lot of cinema lovers are likely to go there. They don't care if the film comes out tomorrow or next week. You can also tell from the survey.

ba

Yes was written honestly and correctly. Of course the cinemas have to survive etc. But honestly, which Bond fan is not getting ENOUGH that the start date is postponed again and again?

ba

So in the current situation, Netflix would be a good solution. The profit would then be split between 3 parties. But these bosses don't get the idea because they prefer the film to flop because nobody is in the mood to watch the film after almost 2 years of postponements🤔

ba

I'll be surprised how many people really go to the cinema and how many people have lost their pleasure but that's true because of the survey 🤔

Fa

Yes, I fully understand: I.

When did they want to bring the film out? End of 2019?

That's really annoying: I!

I think it would be a great compromise if you maybe have to pay a euro or so for the film on Netflix and then the money goes to different cinemas.

Otherwise I'm afraid that Netflix will get even richer and (especially the small) cinemas will go bankrupt…

ba

I think 12 euro is fair. Then Netflix would get the cinema and the makers 1/3 each. But yes you have to shoot new scenes now because surreptitious advertising is out of date that says a lot

Ma

New DC films in America, for example, are released on HBOmax at the same time as in the cinema, I think that's a good idea

ba

And what are the prices there? So subscription and cinema?

Ma

Honestly, no idea. Unfortunately, HBOmax is not yet available in Europe
