On my Amazon Fire TV Stick, the picture jerky when I watch films or series on Netflix, when I set the screen resolution to "Automatic". Only with Netflix. And even if I screw down the screen resolution a bit, the picture still jerks every now and then. When I watch content on Amazon Prime, everything runs smoothly when it is set to "Automatic". What can that be? And why is it not jerky with Netflix and Amazon Prime? With the new Disney + I also noticed that the picture jerky in between.
This could be due to your internet line. There's currently a lot of throttling (Prime and Netflix too). And since many are at home due to the corona crisis, including home offices, the network is often at the limit.
My settings that I drive well with:
Automatic resolution up to 4K, automatic color space, dynamic image display native
