Netflix series only in foreign language?

I would like to watch the series Vis a Vis on netflix, but unfortunately they are not available in German. Can someone explain why that is? I was so happy because it sounds interesting and there are 4 staggering of it… But then unfortunately not in German 🙈

This can have different causes, for example, the one who did not want to synchronize it. It was cheaper just to make subtitles or certain licenses are missing
