I wanted to ask what you think of the monthly costs for streaming services? I still know the days with video stores and VHS tapes.
I'll list a few:
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, Joyn, TVnow, Apple TV, Magenta TV, SKY, etc.
There are additional channels on Amazon Prime, and they may also be available elsewhere

The choices you have there are just great.
If you think about it, it is definitely cheaper than going to the video store every day (both for the wallet and in terms of time). I myself have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + and Sky and it still sometimes happens that I have to rent films from Amazon. Therefore only acceptable and not cheap.
With us it cost 1 euro per day to borrow a film.
I have Netflix and Disney +. At Disney + it pays off a little more, because there are almost every film, because Disney buys everything So I LOVE Disney + and for 6.99 euro a month it is very cheap!
I don't think much of Amazon Prime, you have to buy most good films again.
So for me it's worth it and that's why I've subscribed to several. The cost of buying or renting all of the films and series individually is a multiple of the subscription costs, so they are pretty cheap.
I only have the music service Spotify. I think the price is okay, for the fact that I can find almost every song I want… Even things that were long believed lost that I really never found again… A song by Can. I heard it once in the early 70s, only the band knew… As a music fan you are of course happy, yes.
I see it the same way, in the 80s there was a video store that took a flat rate of DM 30 per month. Borrow 3 films per day, of course bring the others back.
