The series is praised by many, but I personally don't find the story very convincing. Overall, it is well produced and written, but I find it predictable, clichéd and for these reasons I just don't find it very exciting.
But how do you see that?

Sometimes I do too. But then put in the new films that are good and I stay.
Because Triss is actually a red-haired white woman that looks amazing. And I believe that Yennefer has colored sex, too.
They broke it, which is no wonder because women produced this series or wrote the script.
The point is that non-white people are also represented in the media. In the other direction, whitewashing often takes place.
If the skin color, which generally has no great impact or meaningfulness on / about a character, is not in any way important for the story or the identity of the character, it doesn't really bother me.
But I can understand the "homogeneous stereotypes" very well.
What bothered me was the narrative style. Due to the different time levels, which could hardly be differentiated, the whole story was quite confusing and I strapped late that they are different times. That should have been better illustrated.
I found the first episode really good, the rest ok.
A solid start with room for improvement.

Everyone is an individual, and even if there are gender tendencies for societal and social reasons, this does not mean that they can be applied to any representative.
