Pay 100 euro more?

Hi, I want to get a new laptop, the Hp Envy x360 with 15.6 inches. It would have Ryzen 5 4000 and 8GB RAM and 1000GB SSD. It costs 799 euro.

For 100 more, i.e. 899 euro, I would get it with Ryzen 7 and 16GB RAM, but then it would only have 512GB SSD.

I will probably use it mainly for school or to watch Netflix, and sometimes to edit photos.

Which one would you recommend to me?

Ga

Is completely unnecessary… Especially with the price. And the fact that it is only a 512 GB hard drive at 900 euro.

Ga

Or at 800 euro only 8gb? My 500 euro PC is better there.

Al

That's why he has a touchscreen

Al

He is with touch

Ga

Joa… Is still a bit too much. But if it's touch screen, I'd better not say anything. Didn't deal with the touchscreen praise.

Al

Ok thanks anyway

So I have an HP Envy x360 15 with a Ryzen 7 4700U, 16GB RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD.

For me it is a great notebook, has a similar performance to my computer, only without a dedicated graphics card.

So I would take the one with the Ryzen 7 and not the Ryzen 5, for the simple reason that if the 500GB SSD is no longer enough for you, you can just install a new one, which is quite easy. You can't exchange the CPU.

As an alternative to installing a new SSD, you can also connect an external HDD. The notebook has USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type C.

Ni

Does the 500 euro also include an illuminated keyboard and a 15 inch touchscreen?

What kind of CPU do you have?

Ga

Yes, it is better priced. Yes, I have an illuminated keyboard (mechanical, RGB) no touchscreen but 24 inches on 75 hz overclocked monitor and a Ryzen 3 3200g 3.60 mhz (DO NOT use the Vega 8) 16gb on dual channel (with xmp) and an overclocked 2 fan Gtx 1650 c:, 1 TB HDD

Ni

Then unfortunately I have to tell you that the notebook with the 4700U has a faster CPU.

And 16GB DDR4 3200 memory is built into the HP notebook. So purely in terms of performance, a great part.

Just no dedicated graphics card. But you can do a lot with the APU.

Ga

I quote "it is priced better" and also better than an APU. And DDR4 3200 Ram are also built into my PC. So the CPU doesn't really matter. Especially for things like Netflix and photo editing. CPU isn't everything.

Ni

Right, but you wrote

because my 500 euro PC is better.

Only from the GraKa, but not the CPU.

Ga

I even wrote it down myself with the next message. Read it through again. And on top of that, the CPU in Netflix and photo editing is completely pointless and a waste of money. As I said, it doesn't matter that the CPU is better.

Ni

True = I only saw D now xD

Ga

All good: = D
