On average, we needed 900 euro / month per person (4 people) for 2019.
I see hardly any savings potential. And you?
Your lineup is totally confused, you mix monthly with annual amounts with one time payments with quarterly payments.
Arrange that first.
Ask:
What are the biggest items?
What are avoidable items (journal subscriptions, 4 vehicles)?
What are unavoidable costs (broadcasting fee)
If 4 people have 4 vehicles, who drives for more than 125 euro by public transport?
You have a private health insurance, subscribe to stock market magazines and your daughter goes riding. That would make me suspect that you have some foresight and organizational skills.
As the other answers showed, many issues are insurances for the whole calendar year, and broadcasting is quarterly.
I also find it surprising that the tax deduction is also declared as "expenses". Should this occur monthly, then the remaining expenses are not very much for a 4-person household. I would also omit the PKV contribution for your wife, … Surprised I think that you have listed any PKV contributions for the children, or they assure themselves?
If I were you, I'd do a lineup over the entire calendar year (since you seem to own a house over several years if necessary) to see where the money really is. Also, a listing of the full cost of the vehicles is helpful with purchase, repairs and loss of value.
Thanks for your hints. But I do not want to list my expenses that exact. This is completely enough for me as I do it.
Private KV for the children does not exist, because they are insured by me in the GKV.
That there are issues for my wife I have to expel them or cut the salary. To leave out completely would be stupid, since the money is gone anyway.
I have been doing the installation since 2009 and had an average of over 5,000 euro / month in expenses. Of course, I also had higher revenues, so that I could save as usual in the last 9 years on average my 2,000 euro month. Otherwise, all expenses are listed as incurred and not broken down to the months, so of course there are months that are quite costly and others that cost less.
The entire billing would be revised, because you can incorporate the annual contributions at maturity. It makes more sense to include the monthly amounts pro rata, then control with the income is easier.
Furthermore, 900 euro per person a lot in the month. I can handle half without missing anything.
You do not necessarily need 2 cars or motorcycles and you should only do that if it fits well into the budget.
Private health insurance is always expensive, it really makes sense in the long term if there's no rich income available in old age that is available.
Also birthday and the like. Always on the month, for reasonable cost control. I would rather save on the vehicles, certainly not with the offspring.
In my life, never had a vehicle fully insured. Even if you get paid for a damage, they let you climb on the tariff ladder, like a weatherman. That only makes the insurance rich.
Thanks for your advice. The private KV is a must, because my wife is a civil servant. That is no different. I post the expenses as they come and do not change them every month. Because I have to pay them as they are and not in installments.
If so can expect better. What I do not understand, why you write on the one hand, you can save something, but have financed the car. Has tax reasons, otherwise makes the interest payment and no sense.
I had invested in buying cars the 10,000 euro in shares and did not sell, so I chose the financing. Only a few months left, then the car is paid off. But that does not matter.
So 60,000, - a year?
No, I can save on average only between 24,000 euro and 28,000 euro a year.
