SAO back on Netflix?

So I looked in the catalog and noticed that Sao is back.

Is that also the case with you? So I thought it was taken out?

Yes, SAO is back. Netflix has probably extended the license for it or bought it again.

SAO has never been in it, has it? When I saw Active Anime on Netflix, it wasn't on it.

Yes, SAO is back on Netflix. (At least the first two seasons, which had also been seen on Netflix before.) The license expired at the end of the year, which has now been extended so that Netflix can show the anime again.
