Can you still stream older films on the Internet?

I wanted to watch childhood films on the Internet again (e.g. Adam and Eve the film or Rosa's dream), but there are no pages because they are old and from Sweden. Amazon Prime, maxdome, YouTube, Netflix etc. Doesn't offer this either and Movie4k is unfortunately illegal, if only in Swedish but not in German. I think it's a shame that it is no longer possible to look at old childhood memories just because they are old. Maybe jmd knows the problem here or knows any sites where it is free and still possible, thanks.

Found a very old 1936 film:

You have to make it clear that streaming services are gigantic power guzzlers because the hard drives on which the films are stored have to be constantly switched on, which means they consume electricity. So there are servers that also need their electricity 24/7. So they only put the films on their servers that are called up frequently and do not fill up dead because they may be called up once a year.

Even the illegal torrent distributors only care about the very latest films. For them, they are already pasted off as soon as they appear on serious streamers. Simply because they only earn if their advertising windows are shown very often.

Luck - but not guaranteed - you could have it on Youtube, I have already found series episodes from my childhood - and that was 6 decades ago, or Usenet is still there, because there's a lot of weird and very weird - unfortunately also forbidden weird, which I do not want to describe in more detail here.
