Hello, I'm currently watching the Dark series on Netflix, and I have now completely finished the first season. I'm concerned with the whole thing with Michael's farewell letter. I don't understand the logic behind how it works that Ines has it first, then somehow Jonas, who burns it, and then gets it again from Ines… Then the information from the network that he had carried rum with himself for over 30 years… I do not understand that. If he had got it and burned it, then as an older person I wouldn't be able to send this letter to itself, would it? Somehow I don't really see through it… Can anyone explain that to me in a precise and understandable way?
Michael left the letter for Ines. Ines hands the letter to Jonas. Jonas has the letter with him for 30 years and then hands it over to his younger self. The younger Jonah burns the letter and then receives the letter from Ines and carries it around with him for 30 years and then hands it over to his younger self, etc.
