The following, I would like to start watching anime to see if I like anime or not because I've really never watched an anime haha.
Maybe someone can recommend an anime to me? (preferably on Netflix) it's not supposed to be a ' basic '' anime, but I just want to know if that might be something for me or not.
I'm just a person who doesn't like happy endings haha. Besides, I kind of like it when things get brutal.
It would be really cool if someone could recommend something to me or tell me if there are many animes that are like that.

Take Inuyashiki, he's pretty brutal and he's on Netflix.
Check out the first 3 episodes and if he doesn't grab you, then anime is probably not for you.

Watch a movie to get started. That is short and self-contained. Especially nice are: Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Arrietty. They are cute but worth seeing.
Otherwise, I can't think of any good ones on Netflix that are closed. Many anime are still in the works or Netflix doesn't have the licenses.
