Hi there
i'm always so quickly confused with the conversion
let's say I download a game on Steam with how many mb per second it would download
and is the bandwidth enough for a 2 person household with Netflix Stream and gaming at the same time for example?
To help: a byte is 8 bits. Means: 8Mbit is 1Megabyte
That would be at 1000:
125 mb per second
that would be a gigabyte in about 10 seconds?
that's way too fast, isn't it?
So downloading a 10 gb game on Steam would take about 1.40 minutes?
That's exactly how it is, cyberpunk took about 10 minutes for me
300 mbit s are so 25-30 mb per second I just do it roughly 300mbits 30mb / s
That's definitely enough. Even two people can download something and stream content easily.
At least if the maximum is reached every now and then. But the normal value is also fast.

You can also use the table
I also have a 1000 line but don't get the full 1000 more like 800
That's why there's also a minimum bandwidth in your case 300
