Can I easily connect an Amazon Fire TV Stick to a gaming monitor? (this one: https://www.otto.de/...681003205) and 2. Do I have other costs besides one-time costs from the stick? I assume that you can use the Amazon Prime stick to see what costs money. What about Netflix and Youtube as well as normal TV?
Would be very grateful for an answer.
Theoretically nice, it has an HDMI connection.
But why should that make sense? As soon as you have a computer, you can also watch Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. You can download TV apps to catch up on old programs.
You can connect it, but sound becomes a little difficult without a speaker.
You can watch Netflix if you have a Netflix subscription. Youtube works too. Television is only possible with a suitable app such as Zattoo or the app of the internet provider of your choice. Depending on the provider, this may require additional money for television via the Internet (at 1&1 it is currently included in the fee).
Theoretically yes, but I no longer use this monitor for my computer. And instead of buying a TV, I thought I could take it
You can easily play your content on the monitor. YouTube is free, but Amazon Prime, Netflix, and regular TV cost money. The stick actually turns your monitor into a Smart TV. If you have a PC or console on your monitor, you don't need the Fire TV.
Go
But it doesn't make sense since the stick does not support WQHD and 144 Hz
And besides, the thing has no speakers
If that is the case, then that is no problem!
The FireTV stick only needs a HDMI connection. So that should work.
The tone becomes problematic. You need a monitor with a headphone jack. Or otherwise how to output sound.
I don't think the selected monitor can do that.
Otherwise you have youtube on it. Netflix and of course amazon prime. There are certainly many other apps too. As well as a browser function. (Also gives a Firefox browser.)
For netflix and Prime, of course, you need the corresponding subscriptions.
And you need an amazon account that you have to link to the stick. It is imperative. However, this does not have to be a primary account. A normal one works too. You couldn't use amazon prime.
