At the moment I still have Sky until the end of 2020. But apart from Net Geo Wild and TLC I do not watch anything. Of course, I also record many programs, so that I can play the advertising.
But I'm thinking about whether I should grow Apple TV. Nevertheless, I would like to know if I can watch "normal" television as well. For example, RTL, Sat1, TLC, etc. German television halt?
On the other hand, there's already Netflix, that's good. Can I somehow download app's? And is there Joyn as well?
Please answer my questions and tell me how satisfied you are with Apple TV since. What advantages and disadvantages are there? Is Apple TV really worth it?

Would guess at the point to Fire TV from Amazon, which can do everything you have addressed. By subscribing to Magenta TV on Fire TV, you can use it to watch TV, record, etc.
I think an Apple TV is especially worthwhile especially if you buy films and series, for example on iTunes, and you want to watch them comfortably on the TV. You can also download apps, for example games or media libraries of various channels. Or you use Apple's own streaming service Apple Plus (there run Apple's own productions)
If you want to watch "normal" TV, you need additional apps because it helps Zattoo then it works but without problems:-)
As far as I know, recording a program is not possible
I love my Apple TV, as it seamlessly fits into the range of other Apple devices and I just need to turn it on and all the data I want is there:-)
