Why do you need this Apple TV Box?

So I have a Samsung Smart TV from which you can download the Apple TV app. My question would be, what benefits do you get from this Apple TV Box, which you can order directly from Apple? Okay, of course you get a fancy remote control and you can play a bit with it, but otherwise? If you buy the box, you can download all relevant apps (Netflix, Prime, etc.). Would find it cool in itself to have a smart OS on my TV.
