Have an IntelCore (TM) i5-7500 CPU / 3.40 Ghz 3.40 Ghz.
I wonder that the monitor at Netflix does not even FUll HD can handle, although he should manage Ultra HD, on Youtube, I often synonymous not always the resolution I should actually have. -.-
For video games such as z. Farcry 5 is still fine, high resolutions are inside but not quite on Ultra. I'm considering another monitor to buy or just save the money to get even later ne better graphics card, it is a pity because I bought the graphics card last year…
This is "only" a full HD monitor.
The GTX 1060 should make every game on Ultra in Full HD with as much as 50 FPS. I also have the GTX 1060 and put the games only on "high", so I reach 60 stable stable FPS.
If you now but 120 FPS, you need a twice as fast graphics card, for example RTX 2070/2080 or an AMD RX 5700 XT.
Note, however, that your CPU is also very tight, because it has only 4 cores / 4 threads. This is still enough for most games, but some CPU-heavy games could already be slowed down by the CPU.
Desway make the CPU test:
Set the details to low, and the resolution to 720p and see if you can get 120 FPS in your games. If so: then it is worthwhile synonymous twice as fast graphics card. If, despite low details, e.g. Only 80 FPS creates, then upgrade the graphics card rather not on.
PS: On Youtube and Netflix, all videos should run smoothly in FullHD, but your CPU and GTX 1060 will do it!
Try out another browser?!
PPS: Of course, there are videos on Youtube that were only uploaded in 720p, which you can then logically not look in 1080p.
With netflix and youtube lies woll because of the network
