Netflix: I would like to watch children's series in Arabic, but the selection in Arabic never appears?

Even after I type "Audio in Arabic" in the search and get a lot of series in this category, I still can't watch anything in Arabic - Turkish, Russian, Dutch are not a problem. Does anyone know why this is?

Mo

On the one hand it is questionable whether there's any Arabic audio at all, on the other hand it is simply not offered in Germany, since we're in Germany.

Not every audio is available in every country.

Na

There's a category "Audio in Arabic" on Netflix * Germany *, which tells me that it should already be available…

Mo

As you can see here, you shouldn't take these categories for full.

No

"It is not offered in Germany because we're in Germany". I'm sorry but your statement makes absolutely no sense. Then why are there Italian, Chinese, Turkish etc. When we're "now in Germany"?

Mo

Because there's audio for it and there are enough people in Germany who speak these languages. But the proportion of Arabic speakers is apparently so small that it is not worth offering the audio here.

Tu

Everything will not be in Arabic because you have to buy a license for every language. You don't even buy and you can offer any language in Germany.

I do not know what Netflix has with us in Arabic, but some things are just not visible in the German interface and you have to set your Netflix in the setting in Arabic.

For example, this series https://www.netflix.com/...e/81193245 (Korean Anime Series) is available in Germany in Arabic, but you have to put your Netflix in Arabic.

This is because if there's no German (German subtitles or a German synchro) the other would be put off if a series or a film does not have anything German at all (after all, we're in Germany);)

Because you get something displayed when you enter it, I assume that you simply don't have your Netflix in Arabic.

Thank you very much, that was very helpful!

You can't and should not answer questions if you are not informed. Germany has many residents with Arab roots. So the audio has nothing to do with how many Arabs live in DE.
