I do not know if you call the genre that way but I like my series like eg. Rick and Morty. Please write why the series is so good.

Death Note
Psycho Pass
Greeting Than
Love, Death & Robots - especially the consequences of Sunshine Edge, Beyond the Aquilla Rift and Zima Blue!
These are all short films, some of which are very profound! Definitely worth seeing!
Oh… And the anime "Made in Abyss" - but do not be put off by the intro or the first minutes! Although it seems like a children's film at first, but later it is really anything but childlike!
Disenchantment is quite entertaining.
