Retrofit Ambilight for Smart TV?

I'm desperate for a retrofit ambilight. I was about to order my dreamscreen or lightpack until I realized that it would not illuminate the contents of my tv so it is completely useless in my case.

Now I have searched further but found nothing, especially since there are hardly any who are concerned with the topic.

Now just ask the question: Is there an Ambilight solution that gives the smart content of the tv's (Netflix, Amazon and Co) fablich suitable for the picture in the background again?

(Now, do not buy me with a Phillips Ambilight TV around the corner)

Incandescent and LED light strips from the Philips HUE system can do that.

They are controlled via the app of a mobile phone or tablet.

However, you still need a bridge to the light bar (with which you could then regulate your entire lighting in the house via a HUE app.)

No, that does not work, how should the LEDs receive the signal? Only works with external media players

The thing about this Ambilight is anything but simple. For this purpose, the color and brightness values of the edge pixels must be calculated out of the video image. Such Ambilight control must then also edit the video signal of the TV. For this is first necessary, look at the video:

And then of course you need the video signal. The problem: If the TV produces the AV signal, especially from streaming services itself, this does not usually come out of the HDMI connections, so you do not even get the idea to save those videos. So you have to generate your HDMI video signal via external receiver / a computer.

Incandescent and LED light bars can only do this if an Ambilight TV from Philips supplies the corresponding control signals for the Hue!

in that respect the answer should not help the questioner…

Is that so?
I have "only" the HUE lighting system and I noticed that some apps have Ambilight implemented, I assumed that the scheme could be done, for example, via the camera phone?
