Which TV would you prefer?

I would like to buy a new, larger TV that should be for Netflix and definitely for my PS5. Play shooters, fighting games etc. From time to time.

Now here are the two shortlisted:

Now I have informed myself about the input lag which is decisive and read that the Sony has 13 ms and the Philips 20 ms. The Sony is actually better, but the Ambilight is a plus point for the Philips.

Do you think 20ms is enough, or should I do without the Ambilight.

I'm also pleased with your opinions.

Xiaomi has now presented a TV that should cost 1000 euro with 85 inches, 4k and hdmi 2.1.

Maybe you'll have a look.

Smaller ones would then cost clearly less

I think the first one would fit very well because it comes very close to the maximum performance of the Ps5, so you could use the power of the ps5 almost completely with this TV and get a good picture while gaming and I think you will also get a stable 4k when watching TV.

I'll have a look, thanks for the tip!

Thank you for the advice, that's right, it would rather fit in!

PS: TVs are generally unsuitable for shooters, but you can still do them.

I used to play shooters on TV, but just out of boredom.

My Samsung smart tv has 14ms in game mode.

My monitor has 1 ms

Yes, unfortunately, due to lack of space, I can't place a monitor plus because of my kiddis 😂 but that's true in general, they are better. Try to find a good compromise, because gaming TVs are pigs expensive 😟

That's why it's actually great. Unfortunately, at the bottom of the page, it may not come to us at all.

For me, the 55 inch samsung smart tv has proven itself.

Got the (hope got it right) ue55ru7379.

But has no HDMI 2.1 and no 120hz.

On a console, however, 60hz are actually completely sufficient.

It is best to look for a good panel rather than 120hz and hdmi 2.1😬
