I and my family may want to FINALLY get Netflix soon.
Otherwise my parents were always against it.

It has a good selection of films and series and the price is absolutely cheap at around 14 euro.

Well, that's not rocket science now. So yes.
To do without 08/15 idiotic American series in principle.
But if you like, Netflix is still a cheap alternative. I would recommend you as a family to play board games rather than dumb down in these perpetual series. In terms of money it is ok in every case! On the other hand, there are really good series and there's a lot of choice, so as you like.
Can recommend it as well as advise against it. Just buy it and try it out if that's what you want.
There are enough films and series for my viewing habits, so I have had the subscription for 3 years without a break.
The standard subscription for 11.99 euro per month is completely sufficient.

Great for real series and films, despite great weaknesses in terms of depth. In 9 out of 10 series, you simply notice that they were designed for bing-watching.
The biggest rubbish for anime, however. I just don't understand why many anime fans swear by Netflix.

Terrible press communication as a journalist
Almost all of my favorite series and movies are available on Netflix.
I personally prefer to watch K-dramas & the selection on Netflix is simply mega good and large. Even so, it is of course much more relaxed than this annoying advertisement all the time. So, I can briefly press pause, go to the toilet or refill the bowl of chips and keep looking.
I think you pay around 12 euro, but I look at my best friend with xD
